Tips and Trends from Meg from Meg Jewelry
How do you describe your wedding Jewelry Collection and design style?
...Organic and natural. I feel that jewelry should move with the woman's body, not be structured. My jewelry has movement and texture to feel like it is a part of the woman's body.

What's a big wedding trend you're seeing?
Big earrings and cuffs. Lots of crystals with touches of pearls.

Any dramatic details you suggest for your brides?
The look now is all about drama! Big and bold statement pieces. This season I designed for the bride who wanted to be the queen of the show.

What's a common mistake you see brides make?
I hear a lot of brides wanting to do something true to who they are, but not feeling the confidence to step out of the norm.

What is it like designing wedding jewelry for brides today?
Fabulous! I love brides-to-be! They are full of love and excitement! I love brides who know what they want, and I love brides who give me creative freedom.

Is it important for a bride to have a vision in place before she chooses her Jewelry Collection?
No. It is my job as a designer, or the job of the consultant, to get to know the bride and guide her so she finds her vision. The bride will always know what she wants when she puts on the right piece. It is the same for finding THE dress. She just KNOWS!

Do you have any last advice for brides and grooms?
Make the day YOUR day! Don't try to please everyone, it is about you and your husband. Take time to enjoy the day and each other, because it will go by fast.
